Gwen Stefani was born on October 3, 1969 in Fullerton California. She was a seventeen year old girl dreaming of life as a suburban mom when she realized she had musical talent. All of a sudden she could write music and feel what she was writing. Her brother inspired her to be the singer in the band he was starting called No Doubt. It was going to be a ska band. She loved this type of music from listening to her brotherπs records that he was constantly playing. The two other band members were John Spence and Tony Kanal. No Doubtπs first album received a lot of critical praise and 2 Grammy nominations.

After separating from the band Gwen became a very successful solo artist with her c.d. Love Angel Music Baby. The album also introduced her four woman posse the Harajuku Girls. Already red carpet royalty, her clothing line L.A.M.B. turned her into a fashion phenomenon with crazy outfits that give her something many celebs donπt have- a personality.

She has written songs that you donπt mind getting stuck in your head. Some of these songs include ≥Cool≤, ≥Hollaback Girl≤, ≥Rich Girl≤, and ≥What You Waiting For?≤. People think of her as one of the coolest females in rock history. I like her music because it is like nothing youπve ever heard. It has good rhythm and is very upbeat. Gwen Stefani has been married to Gavin Rossdale since 2002. Heπs the lead singer of the band Bush and she was 45 minutes late to their wedding!
