My name is James Frankel, and I developed this site to help music educators learn more about technology and the role that it can play in music education, as well as provide information on the professional development services that I provide. Teaching with technology is a wonderful experience and the content on these pages offer effective solutions for integrating technology into a music curriculum. I also describe the hands-on staff development workshops that I have provided for districts around the country over the past few years. My experience includes over 15 years of teaching instrumental and general music at the elementary and middle school level in New Jersey where I have incorporated music technology throughout my teaching. I have recently moved on to a new position as the Managing Director of SoundTree, the educational division of Korg USA. As a registered Professional Development Provider for the State of New Jersey, it is my mission to help teachers find out more about technology and the amazing applications that it can have in teaching children music.
